Without an amplifier, an electric guitar sounds like a rubber band stretched across a cereal box.

If you're sitting in front of the tv, or trying to play while someone is sleeping, you don't really need an amp.

However, if you're doing a gig, or recording, or just jammin with friends in the garage, an amp is as necessary as cheese on pizza!

Here's what we have in the amp room:

1996 Vox AC/30 Top Boost reissue

1970's Marshall 50-watt halfstacks

Reissue AC/30s with ext cabs

1960s Vox Wesminster head w/Soveirgn cab

1996 Fender Tone Master

1966 Fender Super Reverb

1965 Fender Reverb Unit

We have recorded with most of the amps above, and what is true with the guitars is also true with the amps: no two sound the same.
